Brokerage Calculator Comparison: Zerodha, Groww, Upstox, Dhan, Angel One & FYERS

Brokerage is only one part of the cost of a stock trade. Depending on the trade, your total cost can also include STT, exchange transaction charges, SEBI charges, stamp duty, GST and, for delivery trades, applicable depository charges.

Use our Brokerage Calculator to model these charges and compare the estimated result across major Indian brokers.

Zerodha and Kite brokerage calculator

Kite is Zerodha's trading platform, so searches for a Zerodha brokerage calculator and a Kite brokerage calculator generally refer to the same broker pricing. A delivery trade can have zero brokerage while still incurring statutory and other applicable charges.

Groww, Upstox, Angel One and Dhan

Headline brokerage differs between brokers, but comparing only the brokerage line can give an incomplete picture. The final cost depends on the trade value, number of executed orders, trade type, exchange, applicable taxes and any account-specific or plan-specific charges.

FYERS brokerage calculator

FYERS uses a different published brokerage schedule from the zero-brokerage delivery models above. The calculator comparison therefore models FYERS separately rather than assuming every broker uses the same rate.

Why ₹0 brokerage does not mean ₹0 total cost

A broker can charge ₹0 brokerage for a particular trade while statutory charges still apply. For example, an equity delivery trade can include STT, exchange charges, SEBI charges, stamp duty and GST on applicable service charges. Delivery trades can also have depository charges when securities are sold.

How to compare brokerage correctly

  1. Enter the buy price, sell price and quantity.
  2. Select delivery or intraday.
  3. Select the relevant Indian market and exchange.
  4. Compare brokerage together with statutory charges and the estimated net P&L.
  5. Check the broker's current official pricing before placing a trade.

Are these broker comparison results exact?

No. They are modeled estimates, not broker quotes. Actual charges can vary by account, plan, order type, exchange, instrument, transaction value and applicable taxes. The calculator is designed to make the assumptions visible so you can verify them against the broker's current pricing.

Delta Exchange is different

Delta Exchange is a crypto trading platform rather than an Indian equity broker. Its fee model covers crypto products such as spot, futures and options and uses different trading-fee mechanics. It should therefore be evaluated in a separate crypto trading fee calculator rather than mixed into this Indian equity-broker comparison.
